Explain Emotional Intelligence. State any two characteristics of emotionally intelligent persons.
Emotional intelligence is a set of skills that underlie accurate appraisal, expression, and regulation of emotions. It is the feeling side of intelligence. For representing Emotional intelligence, Emotional quotient is used, i.e. EQ.
The following are the characteristics of an emotionally intelligent person :
a) Perceive and be sensitive to your feelings and emotions.
b) Perceive and be sensitive to various types of emotions in others by noting their body language, voice and tone, and facial expressions.
