Delhi government on 18th July 2017 launched India's largest career counseling and guidance project which is implemented by iDreamCareer.com (iDC) with support from UNDP, India & Central Square Foundation. The project was inaugurated by Honorable Deputy Chief Minister & Education Minister Shri Manish Sisodia. 4 lac students studying in class 10th, 11th and 12th of 1029 Delhi government school will be going through a psychometric career assessment test, followed by one-on-one guidance from an EVGC counselor in their respective school. Every student will get an online personalized career guidance dashboard where the student can access information on 500+ careers and 350+ entrance exams. The good part is that the portal is also available in Hindi language. Additionally all the 480 counselors in EVGC bureau of DoE will be trained and they will also be getting an online counselor dashboard so as to access student's report, access career information and chat with their mapped school student.
Manish Sisodia said this is the first of its kind effort towards "extreme care" of students in government schools. Earlier Counselling is usually not done on such a big scale in any state government school.
This is the biggest platform for those students who are looking for guidance.
