One month to go for the final 2018 CBSE board exam. The exam pattern for CBSE English will be same as the previous. The overall English CBSE board exam contains 100 marks.
The Marks has been distributed in two parts:
- I) Theory Exam
- II) Internal Assessments
The Theory Exam has total 11 Question divided into three sections A, B and C. The total weightage for the theory paper is 80 marks.
Internal assessments carry 20 marks which are carried out by the schools.
The CBSE 2018 Class X Date sheet will release in the first week of January.
The 2018 CBSE theory exam will be from 1 week of March.

Reading Section contains unseen passages. On the basis of passage, there are a certain number of questions to answer on your own understanding.
Writing section consists of letter either formal or informal, a short story on the basis of the picture and few questions from the grammar.
In the literature section, there are questions from the NCERT textbooks which is answered on the basis of the chapters.
Students can prepare the exam according to the chapter’s weightage and can score highest marks.
