The Parliament of India is circular in shape which epitomizes “Continuity”.
Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha are horseshoe in shape. The carpet in the Lok Sabha is green in color, that depicts that India is an agregarian economy and the people here are elected from the grassroot level.
While the carpet in the Rajya Sabha is red in color, which represents royalty and also speaks about the sacrifice done by the numerous people during the movement for India's freedom from the British Raj.
