The revised schedule for the Class 10 (ICSE) and Class 12 (ISC) examinations has been released. The CISCE has to reschedule the dates due to assembly elections.
The ISC practical examination will be started from January 30.
The ISC examination has now been advanced by a week, which was scheduled on February 6 while ICSE exams has been postponed by 10 days which was slated to be held on February 27.
In a press statement, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination Chief Executive and Secretary Gerry Arathoon said, "As a result of rescheduling of the examinations, the candidates will now have the benefit of added study time. The schedule of entrance examination for admission to professional courses has been taken cognizance of, for the candidates taking the ISC examination."
Around 2,50,871 candidates will appear for both the examinations this year, with 1,76,327 candidates registered for the ICSE and 74,544 for ISC examinations.
In addition to the time indicated on the timetable for writing the paper, 15 minutes time is given for reading the question paper.
