2x + y - 6 = 0
⇒ y = 6 - 2x
and 4x - 2y - 4 = 0
⇒ y = 2x - 2

When we plot the graph of the equations, we find that both the lines intersect at point (2, 2).
Hence the solution of the given equation is x = 2, y = 2.
