SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination

Staff Selection Commission – Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination, often referred to as SSC CHSL is an examination conducted for filling up different categories of posts in various Ministries/ Departments/ Organisations.

Various posts include Posts of Lower Divisional Clerk/ Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant and Data Entry Operator. Minimum Qualification to enrol for the exam is 12th Standard and the age limit criteria are 18 to 27 years.

The examination is conducted in three tiers:

  • TIER I: Computer Based Examination.
  • TIER II: Descriptive Paper.
  • TIER III: Skill Test/Typing Test.
