The south west monsoon is noticeable in east and north of Asia. Asian inland in summer forms low pressure region leading wet oceanic air of Indian Ocean  flow over inland Asia generating continuous precipitation even floods. At the Equator area near India frequent westerly winds occur at the surface almost constantly round the year. The surface easterlies reaches near 20* N in February  and soon retreat northward. Due to strong northernly component of easterlies drastic chnages occure in upper-air circulation.
