Four physiological effects of gibberellins are :
(1) Stem elongation primarily internode elongation.
(2) Promote seed germination and break dormancy of buds and tubers.
(3) Promote flowering of long-day plant under non inductive conditions.
(4) They increase leaf and flower size in many plants.
