p(x) = 2x2 + 3x – 5
and q(x) = x3 – 2x2 + 4
Now,
p(x) + q(x) = (2x2 + 3x – 5) + (x3 – 2x2 + 4)
= 2x2 + 3x – 5 + x– 2x2 + 4
= x3 + 3x – 1
