NDA exam is conducted in two stages;
1. Written Exam
The written Exam duration is 5 hours with total marks of 900. The two sections are:
Mathematics: The paper duration is 2 hours 30 minutes with maximum marks of 300
General Ability: The paper duration is 2 hours 30 minutes with maximum marks of 600
2. SSB Interview
The SSB Interview is also conducted in two stages and carries 900 marks.
Stage I comprises of Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) tests are Picture Perception * Description Test (PP&DT)
Stage II Comprises Interviews, Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests, and the Conference. These tests are conducted over 4 days.
