The Mizoram Board of School Education (abbreviated as MBSE) is the main board of school education in the Indian state of Mizoram, responsible for State-level High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) its affiliated schools.

The Mizoram Board of School Education was established in 1975 by the MBSE Act. The act was approved by the Legislative Assembly of the Mizoram Union Territory, at that time the administrative head was the Chief Executive Member Ch. Chhunga. The board as an autonous authority in education started functioning on 2 December 1976.

MBSE is committed to quality education for the holistic development of all students, culminating in attaining excellence in their lives, so that they will be a blessing to the society and the world at large.
