Explain Emotional Intelligence. State any two characteristics of emotionally intelligent persons.
Describe any two procedures of behavioral analysis.
The basic assumption that underlies the behavioral analysis is that the person's behavior in a situation can provide a lot of meaningful information about his/her personality. The techniques used in the behavioral analysis are as follows:
a) Interview: This involves talking to the person being assessed and asking specific questions to those people. The responses made by the interviewee reveals a lot about the personality of the individual.
b) Observation: This method involves observing the individual in a setting, the behavior of the person in that setting reveals a lot about the individuals' personality. Although all of us watch people and form impressions about their personality, the use of observation for personality assessment is a sophisticated procedure that cannot be carried out by untrained people.
