30. Name any two electromagnetic waves. State any one similarity and one difference between them.

Two electromagnetic waves are :

(i) Radio waves

(ii) Light waves

Similarity : Both radio waves and light waves do not require any medium for their propagation.

Difference : Radio waves diffract prominently around buildings as the wavelength of radio waves is of the same order of magnitude as the size of the building or other obstacle. The light waves do not diffract as the wavelength of light waves is very small as compared to the size of building.
